The Spring Brake Thingy Parking Brake fits 2013 and newer Wild Cat Trail/Sport models and features pre-machined holes that allow you to add a padlock for extra security and theft deterrence.
Installation is quick and simple - remove the factory nut from the gas pedal, then install the Spring Brake Thingy between the gas and brake pedals. Position it with the red hook facing the driver’s door and the flat “wing” with the hole pointing toward the dash. Reinstall and tighten the factory nut.
To engage, press the brake pedal with your left foot and use your right foot to slide the locking hook over the brake pedal arm. To release, simply press the brake pedal again until the arm springs back to its starting position.
For added security, insert your own 1/4" to 5/16" shaft padlock when the brake is engaged.
NOTE:
- ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
