Spring Brake Thingy Arctic Cat Textron XX Parking Brake

The Spring Brake Thingy Parking Brake fits all Textron XX models and features pre-machined holes for adding a padlock as an extra theft deterrent.
Installation is quick and straightforward. Remove the plastic rivet from the firewall and use one of the supplied bolts to temporarily hold the parking brake in position. Once level, use the mounting plate as a drill guide to drill a 1/4" hole through the plastic firewall and the plastic sheet on the front side. Insert the second bolt, then install the supplied backing plate and lock nuts on the engine side of the firewall and tighten.
To operate, press the brake pedal with your right foot and use your left foot to slide the lever over the brake pedal arm, engaging all four brakes. For added security, insert your own 1/4" to 5/16" shaft padlock once the brake is engaged.
To release, simply unlock and remove the padlock, then press the brake pedal.
NOTE:
- ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
