Spring Brake Thingy 2011+ Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 Parking Brake

The Spring Brake Thingy Parking Brake fits 2011 and newer Wild Cat 1000 models and features pre-machined holes that allow you to add a padlock for extra security and theft deterrence.
Installation is simple and quick, although having a second person to help with an extra set of hands may make the process easier. Remove the two plastic rivets from the upper firewall, position the Spring Brake Thingy as shown in the product instructions, and insert the supplied bolts through the brake and firewall.
Fold the rubber flap over the bolts on the outside, then install the supplied backing plate with the washers and lock nuts and tighten.
To operate, press the brake pedal with your right foot and use your left foot to slide the locking arm over the pedal to engage the brake. For added security, insert your own 1/4" to 5/16" shaft padlock.
To release, simply unlock and remove the padlock, then press the brake pedal.
NOTE:
- ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
