Wheel Requirements:
- 22” or larger wheel required
- Wheels cannot exceed 5” backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1” wheel spacer
Take your Can-am Defender HD10 to the next level with Super ATV’s 8-inch GDP Portal Gear Lift, combining an 8-inch lift with built-in gear reduction for more torque, ground clearance, and the ability to run larger tires.
Choose from 45%, 60%, or 70% gear reduction to match your riding style, along with billet or cast aluminum housings for added strength. The unique dual-idler gear design spreads the load across two idler gears for stronger torque transfer, while precision CNC-ground gears made from tough 9310 steel provide smooth, reliable performance. The portal system also moves the gear reduction from the transmission to the wheel hubs, helping reduce stress on your axles, prop shaft, differential, and transmission.
Built for hard riding and heavy workloads, the portals feature reinforced housings, 5/16-inch steel alloy backing plates, heavy-duty seals and bearings, and optimized oil flow. They’re designed to resist leaks, premature wear, and gear damage, and they’re backed by a lifetime warranty.
An 8-inch portal lift requires a frame stiffener to help maintain the Defender’s structural strength when running larger tires and increased loads.

- All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket
