Spring Brake Thingy 2017+ Can-am Maverick X3 Parking Brake

The Parking Brake fits all 2017 and newer Can-am X3 models. Be sure to select the correct model version before adding it to your cart.
This brake does not have a locking feature. Installation is simple and quick, although having a second person to help with an extra set of hands can make the process easier.
Simply remove the two plastic rivets from the firewall, install the brake assembly using the supplied 1/4" bolts, then place the backing plate over the bolts on the front of the firewall. Match the plate to the shape of the firewall, install the supplied flat washers and lock nuts, and tighten securely.
To operate the brake, press the brake pedal with your right foot and use your left foot to slide the red locking arm over the brake pedal.
To release it, simply press the brake pedal again. The assembly may appear to flex slightly when installed, but this is caused by the plastic firewall - not the brake hardware.
The parking brake will still function properly and securely hold the brake.
NOTE:
- ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
