EVP offers two options for unlocking your MG1 ECU. The Zero Downtime option allows you to avoid sending in your ECU and keeps your vehicle running while the unlock is completed. EVP will ship you a fully unlocked MG1 ECU with instructions for pairing it to your vehicle using the CodeShooter 2.0 App. A $1,000 refundable ECU Core Charge applies. Once you receive the unlocked ECU, you have 14 days (30 days for international orders) to return your original ECU for a full refund of the core charge. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.

Alternatively, you can use the MG1 ECU Send-In option by removing your ECU and shipping it to EVP at 2018 State Road 35, Somerset, WI 54025. Include the completed ECU Submission Form with your ECU. The MG1 unlock typically takes about 10 business days after EVP receives your ECU, with a total turnaround of approximately one week including transit time. During holidays or promotional periods, allow 10–14 business days. Customers are responsible for shipping costs, and the ECU should be securely packaged with the mounting brackets removed before shipping.
