Wheel Requirements:
- 18” or larger wheel required
- 18” wheels cannot exceed 4-1/2” backspacing
- 20” and larger wheels cannot exceed 5” backspacing
- Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1” wheel spacer
Super ATV’s 6" Gen 3 GDP Portal Gear Lift for the Honda Talon 1000X gives you the freedom to build your machine around the way you ride.
Choose between cast or billet aluminum housings, 30%, 45%, or 60% gear reduction, and optional Dual Idler gears for added strength and reliable torque transfer. A 30% reduction is great for strong torque while maintaining more top speed, while 45% or 60% is ideal for bigger tires and serious mud riding. Because the gear reduction is built into the hubs, it also helps reduce stress and premature wear on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission.
These portals are built for extreme conditions with precision-ground 9310 steel gears, reinforced housings, 5/16" advanced-alloy backing plates, durable seals and gaskets, and heavy-duty bearings. A frame stiffener is recommended to add extra support to your Talon 1000X after installing the 6" portals.
With multiple configuration options and heavy-duty construction throughout, GDP portals give you the strength, clearance, and torque needed to take on demanding terrain.
