Unlike traditional gear setups, GDP places the reduction in the hub, protecting critical drivetrain components like the axles, differential, and transmission from excess strain.

What sets these portals apart is their use of precision-ground 9310 alloy steel gears that deliver smooth, reliable performance under pressure. The housings - available in either cast or USA-made billet aluminum - are reinforced in all the right places for better strength and optimized oil flow. There are no vents to worry about because GDP�s testing showed they do more harm than good.

Backing plates made from 5/16" advanced steel alloy outperform even chromoly steel in strength and durability, ensuring your system can withstand extreme riding. Sealing is top-notch thanks to advanced gaskets, a sealed input gear, double-lipped output seals, and complete oil containment, eliminating leaks.

High-load demands are no issue with double-angular contact bearings on the output shaft and roller bearings for the idler gear, both chosen for their ability to endure hard impacts and maintain performance. You also get universal hubs that support multiple bolt patterns (4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110), plus slotted stainless steel rotors that stay cool and deliver reliable braking.
