Super ATV’s 8” GDP Portal Gear Lift for the Can-Am Defender is built for serious off-roaders looking to dominate deep mud and rugged terrain.

Offering gear reductions of 45%, 60%, or 70% (with dual idler gears for extreme strength), this lift delivers massive torque and room for up to 44” tires. The dual idler system uses precision-machined 9310 steel gears for superior reliability and torque transfer. Because the gear reduction happens in the hub, drivetrain components like axles and transmissions face less stress, extending their life.

These portals feature reinforced housings in cast or billet aluminum and 5/16” advanced steel alloy backing plates, ensuring unmatched durability. They’re equipped with premium seals, gaskets, and bearings for long-lasting performance and zero leaks.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Big Lift Kit or 2" Forward Offset A-Arms strongly recommended

A frame stiffener is required due to the size and strength of the lift.

8” Portal Gear Lift Kit Includes:

(4) Assembled portal hub boxes complete with 9310 gears, seals, output shaft, gaskets, and thrust bearings

(4) Universal hubs and precision-ground stainless steel slotted rotors with lugs

(4) Specialized steel alloy backing plates

(4) Steel caliper mounting plates

Extended brake lines

Steering stop kit (dual idler configuration only)

All required hardware, including recessed castle nut socket

Frame stiffener (must select at checkout)

Wheel Requirements:

22” or larger wheel required

Wheels CANNOT exceed 5” backspacing

Wheels need to have a center hole of at least 3.25" (82.55mm) or require a 1” wheel spacer
