The Can-Am Defender HD8 Cab Heater keeps you warm during cold-weather work and rides by using your Defender’s engine coolant to provide automotive-style heat inside the cab.
It includes multiple fan speeds, adjustable temperature controls, two main vents, and a dedicated windshield defrost system to clear snow, ice, and fog. The complete kit includes hoses, drill bits, and model-specific mounting hardware for easier installation. Durable radiator hoses are rated from -40°F to 285°F, making the system reliable in extreme temperatures.
For added comfort, an optional second-row heater provides heat for rear passengers. A quick-start flow valve can reduce warm-up time by sending coolant through the heater core sooner, while an idle flow pump can deliver warm air in as little as 30 seconds by improving coolant circulation at idle or low speeds.
You can also add a grille cover to block frigid air from reaching the radiator, helping the engine warm up faster and allowing the heater to produce warm air sooner.
The durable PVC-backed polyester cover is easy to install and remove, but should be removed when temperatures rise above freezing to help prevent overheating.
