The RCV CV prop shaft delivers smoother operation and greater strength than traditional U-joint prop shafts.
Its new one-piece front flange/CV design provides a more maintenance-free setup, while the rear CV uses the original bolt-in style with locking fasteners that attach to the replacement transmission flange. Built with 4130 chromoly tubing and 300M CV components, the RCV prop shaft is designed for maximum strength and durability. The entire prop shaft and CV components are sealed and rebuildable for long-term reliability.
Unlike traditional U-joint designs, the RCV system uses three CV joints and an upgraded OEM-style bearing, eliminating concerns about carrier bearing failure and U-joint phasing. U-joints naturally create an oscillating movement that can cause vibration and premature wear on bearings, output shafts, and other components.
The RCV CV design eliminates the U-joint altogether, providing smooth, vibration-free operation and improved durability.
