EVO 2022+ Polaris RZR Pro R Tapp Secondary Clutch
Fitment:
- 2022+ Polaris RZR Pro R
Upgrade your Polaris RZR Pro R with the EVP TAPP Secondary Clutch, engineered for increased durability, improved belt clamping force, and enhanced CVT performance.
Developed in collaboration with TAPP, this innovative clutch addresses common secondary clutch issues, including roller wear, durability, and the need for excessive spring pressure. Its large-diameter helix delivers increased clamping force, allowing it to run a milder torsion spring while maintaining reliable performance under high boost and aggressive launches.
Additional features include an adjustable spring-rate helix cap and replaceable helix ramps, allowing you to change helix angles without replacing the entire assembly. Designed to reduce belt slip and improve power transfer, the TAPP Secondary Clutch has demonstrated impressive performance in EVP's high-horsepower testing.
The clutch comes fully assembled with a 44-degree helix and secondary spring.
EVP Disclaimer: The current calibration is designed for Polaris RZR Pro R models producing approximately 215–400 crank horsepower, including EVP Stock Turbo Tunes and Paragon P54 Turbo Upgrade Systems. Ensure your setup falls within the recommended horsepower range for proper performance.
- Oversize Helix Diameter: Maximizes the clamping force on the belt. One of the largest issues with existing designs is that a small hub limits both the spring coil diameter as well as the maximum force the helix can apply to the belt. Big horsepower cars no longer have to run a double spring.
- Larger Helix Surface: Allows the use of wider rollers that can better distribute the tremendous loads they experience. This is especially true under drag race conditions. We are happy to report that we have put hundreds of runs on a set of rollers with full on 5000 RPM high boost launches. These drag race launches will damage or destroy all other clutch rollers within a few runs.
- Replaceable Helix Ramps: TAPP engineered an elegant solution so only parts of the helix ramps need to be changed when you want to change helix angles.
- Torsionally Adjustable Spring Tension: The design utilizes a torsional style helix cap with adjustable slots which allow the spring torsional tension to be used as a tuning feature.
- Unmatched Performance: All of these design features add up to power, performance and longer belt life. At the 400 wheel horsepower level, just by changing to the TAPP secondary we were able to get another 15-20 horsepower to the wheels. Whether you are trail riding, dunning or racing, belt life will be extended when using a properly calibrated TAPP Clutch.
