From the factory, your Defender routes crankcase vapors back into the intake.
These vapors contain oil, moisture, and combustion byproducts that can coat the turbocharger, intercooler, charge tubes, and intake valves. Over time, this buildup reduces efficiency and performance. Even on naturally aspirated models, oil-contaminated intake air can affect the air/fuel mixture and reduce knock resistance, leading to a loss of power.
The EVP Billet Catch Can separates oil from the crankcase vapors before they reach the intake, helping keep your engine cleaner and performing at its best. Designed for both stock and turbocharged Defender HD10 models, it features a CNC-machined billet aluminum body, an upgraded internal baffle with stainless steel media for improved oil separation, and a high-flow breather filter. A built-in petcock drain valve makes emptying collected contaminants quick and mess-free, while the removable billet cap allows for easy cleaning.
Complete with a silicone intake cap, stainless steel hardware, and a durable black powder-coated finish, this catch can is a simple upgrade that helps protect your engine and maintain consistent performance.
