SandCraft PTL Lock Nut with Set Screw
The SANDCRAFT PTL Lock Nut is a critical upgrade for your PRO R, designed to prevent the factory PTL lock nut from loosening and causing loss of 4WD engagement.
The OEM nut relies on a punched detent that can fail under hard use, potentially allowing the clutch pack to lose tension, disengage 4WD, and even cause damage. The upgraded SANDCRAFT lock nut is made from heavy-duty 4142 pre-heat-treated stainless steel and uses a mechanical set screw to securely hold the nut in position.
With three set-screw locations built into the body, installation and proper torque alignment are simplified. Torque the nut to 85–90 ft-lbs and align the set screw to lock it in place. Professional installation is recommended.
