Sandcraft Motorsports Polaris RZR Pro R PTL Lock Nut w/ Set Screw
The SANDCRAFT PTL Lock Nut is a critical upgrade for your Pro R.
This nut controls the compression of the clutch pack between the driveline and transmission, and the OE lock nut has a history of loosening when its factory punch detent fails. When this happens, the clutch pack can lose tension, resulting in loss of 4WD engagement and potentially damaging the clutch pack.
SANDCRAFT upgrades this critical component with a beefy 4142 pre-hardened stainless-steel lock nut featuring a mechanical set screw to securely hold it in position. The body includes three set-screw locations to make proper torque alignment easier.
Torque to 85–90 ft-lbs and align the set screw. Professional installation is recommended.
