The RCV CV prop shaft is designed to deliver smoother operation and greater strength than traditional U-joint prop shafts.
The new one-piece front flange/CV design provides a more maintenance-free setup, while the rear CV uses a bolt-in design with locking fasteners that attach to the replacement transmission flange.
Built with 4130 chromoly tubing and 300M CV components, the RCV prop shaft is designed for maximum strength and durability. The shaft and CV components are fully sealed and rebuildable for long-lasting performance.
The RCV design uses three CV joints and an upgraded OEM-style bearing to provide smooth operation while eliminating U-joint phasing and reducing concerns about carrier bearing failure. Traditional U-joints naturally oscillate during operation, creating vibrations that can lead to premature wear on bearings and output shafts.
By eliminating the U-joints, the RCV CV design provides smoother operation, less vibration, and improved drivetrain durability.
