Moose Offroad Universal Kinetic Recovery Rope
Recover stuck vehicles more efficiently and with less impact using the Moose Offroad Universal Kinetic Recovery Rope. Built for use in low-traction conditions such as sand, mud, or snow, this recovery rope is engineered to stretch under load and store kinetic energy. Unlike traditional tow straps or rigid winch lines, the rope’s elasticity allows it to absorb and release energy during a recovery pull, helping to reduce sudden shock loads on both vehicles involved.
This controlled stretch makes it easier to free stuck UTVs and side-by-sides while minimizing strain on recovery points, frames, and drivetrain components.
Constructed for strength and durability—likely using double-braided nylon—this recovery rope features a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 9,000 lbs (4,080 kg) and a 1/2-inch diameter, making it well suited for recovering lighter UTVs. Reinforced loop ends provide secure attachment points for properly rated shackles and recovery mounts.
The Moose Offroad Kinetic Recovery Rope is available in 20-foot and 30-foot lengths, allowing you to choose the right option depending on your recovery setup and terrain. Each rope also includes a convenient storage bag, keeping it protected and organized when not in use.

Fitment
This rope is a universal recovery tool designed for lighter UTVs. As a general guideline, the recommended vehicle Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) should typically be between 1/3 and 1/2 of the rope’s Minimum Breaking Strength.
Properly rated recovery points and connection hardware (such as shackles) are required on both vehicles and are sold separately.
Important: This rope is intended only for kinetic recovery use. It should not be used for towing or lifting applications. Always inspect the rope for damage before each use.
