The Maverick R’s factory fuel system uses six relatively small injectors and a lower-flow fuel pump, which can limit the fuel delivery needed for high-power E85 applications. EVP redesigned the entire fuel pump assembly to provide the additional flow and pressure needed for 300+ wheel horsepower on E85, while allowing you to retain the factory injectors.
The system features an E85-safe DW 340LPH fuel pump, 4.5-bar fuel pressure regulator, billet serviceable fuel filter, and properly designed relay harness that takes the increased electrical load off the ECU. For E85 tuning, the rising-rate system uses a boost-reference hose connected to the EVP charge tubes to maintain the fuel flow and pressure required under boost. The pump has enough capacity for approximately 400 wheel horsepower on E85, providing additional room for future upgrades.
Designed for flexibility, the system can operate with E85 or gasoline tunes without changing hardware when using the appropriate EVP tuning files. The billet spin-on filter includes a replaceable 100-micron stainless-steel filter, making maintenance easier than the non-serviceable factory filter.
