EVP DISCLAIMER: The 2021–2023 X3 Turbo RR MG1C ECU Unlock & Flash Service requires you to remove and send your ECU to EVP at 2018 State Road 35, Somerset, WI 54025.
Complete and include the ECU Submission Form with your ECU. The MG1 unlock takes approximately 10 business days after EVP receives the ECU, so plan for about a week without your ECU, including shipping. During holidays or promotional periods, allow 10–14 business days. You are responsible for shipping the ECU to EVP, and U.S. ECUs are returned via UPS Ground. Remove the ECU mounting brackets before shipping.
For 2021–2023 X3 Turbo RR Big Injector Tuning, Stage 4 X100 includes three EVP/Bosch 1,000cc flow-matched injectors, EVP injector adapter plugs, and the EVP ECU Power Flash. Stage 5 X85 includes the same injectors and adapters plus a high-flow fuel pump, which is required for E85 because E85 requires approximately 30% more fuel than gasoline.
Once EVP performs the initial MG1 ECU Unlock, you will not need to send the ECU back for future tuning updates as long as you have an EVP CodeShooter or Maptuner device. EVP supports both the proven Maptuner X and the newer Maptuner Nano, a Bluetooth, app-based flashing device compatible with Android 10+ and iOS 12+.
