The Parking Brake fits all 2023 and newer CF MOTO ZFORCE Trail and Sport models.
This brake does not have a locking feature. Installation requires removing the brake pedal, drilling two 1/4" holes in the pedal arm using the supplied plate as a template, and securing the plate with the supplied hardware.
Reinstall the brake pedal, then remove the two 10mm bolts behind the throttle pedal and use the supplied 6mm-1.0 x 20mm bolts to mount the parking brake behind the pedals. A second set of hands can make installation easier.
To operate, press the brake pedal with your right foot and use your left toes to slide the red lever to the right, securing the pedal. To release, simply press the brake pedal again until the lever releases and springs back to the left. Some flex in the assembly is normal because it mounts to the plastic firewall; this does not affect its function.
When parking on a hill, always engage the parking brake before putting the transmission into Park.
NOTE:
- ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
