The Can-Am Defender HD9 Cab Heater keeps you warm and comfortable during cold-weather work and rides by using engine coolant to produce automotive-style heat inside the cab.
It connects to the Defender’s existing key-on and power terminals for simple wiring and includes the hoses, drill bits, and model-specific mounting hardware needed for installation. Adjustable temperature and fan controls let you set the heat to your liking, while the included defrost vent helps clear snow, ice, and fog from the windshield. Heavy-duty radiator hoses are built to handle temperatures from -40°F to 285°F, providing reliable performance in extreme conditions.
For even more comfort, an optional second-row heater keeps rear passengers warm with their own temperature and fan controls. A quick-start flow valve can help the heater warm up twice as fast by sending coolant through the heater core sooner, while an idle flow pump can provide warm air in as little as 30 seconds by improving coolant circulation at idle or low speeds.
You can also add a grille cover to block cold air from the radiator, helping the engine reach operating temperature faster and getting warm air into the cab sooner. The durable PVC-backed polyester cover installs quickly, but must be removed when temperatures rise above freezing to prevent overheating.
