The 2-piece windshield design allows the upper and lower sections to be installed independently. Keep both sections installed during colder months for increased front-end protection, or remove the lower section when temperatures rise to improve airflow while keeping the upper windshield in place as a convenient bug shield.
The upper section is constructed from 1/4-inch MR10 Lexan scratch-resistant polycarbonate, combining the impact strength of Lexan with a proprietary abrasion- and UV-resistant coating on both sides. The lower section uses durable 1/4-inch general-purpose polycarbonate. The 1/4-inch construction provides added rigidity and helps prevent the windshield from bowing during higher-speed operation or when hauling.
Flexible automotive-style PVC trim along the lower edge helps create a better seal against the hood line, while integrated bends add strength and give the windshield a clean, finished appearance.
The base configuration uses vibration-damping loop clamps made from zinc-plated steel with a protective vinyl coating. The clamps provide a secure mounting solution while helping cushion the windshield against vibration. All required loop-clamp hardware is included.
For even greater versatility, optional Quick Install Straps provide a tool-free installation method using military-grade hook-and-loop straps. You can also add sliding ventilation vents positioned in front of the driver and passenger to control airflow without removing the windshield.
