Stay warm and comfortable with the Ice Crusher Cab Heater, designed specifically for the 2021-2025 Can-am Commander.
This is a purpose-built heater - not a universal kit - and delivers 14,600 BTU of engine coolant heat through seven adjustable vents, including dedicated windshield defrost. The heater mounts neatly in the passenger-side footwell and uses engine coolant for heat, so it provides strong warmth without putting extra demand on your battery.
Most DIY installations take approximately 4–8 hours, depending on experience. Order during business hours and it ships the same day from Minnesota.

MaxStat – Inline Coolant Bypass Thermostat:
- Heater performance depends on coolant temperature and coolant flow through the heater core.
- As the radiator cools the engine, the factory thermostat can close and reduce coolant flow to the heater.
- The MaxStat adds a secondary inline thermostat to keep coolant flowing to the heater core when the factory thermostat closes.
- Helps reduce the thermal cycling that can affect heater performance.
- Standard thermostat: 180°F
