- If a customer is running or plans on running Front Outlaw DHT Axles and this forward a-arm kit, they will need to add the Polaris Steering Stop Kit (Part# RANGER-SSK) to avoid clearance issues on the CV boot.
- Be sure to check for worn ball joints, bearings, and bushings before installation and replace them if needed.
- This kit comes with control arms ONLY - no ball joints.
High Lifter’s service team uses a hydraulic press to install each ball joint with the correct pressure and alignment, ensuring the retaining clip is fully seated and secure. By purchasing control arms with ball joints already installed (BJP-3 for this kit), you avoid potential damage from improper installation - a problem not covered under High Lifter’s Lifetime Warranty.
These control arms are designed to maximize ground clearance with a carefully shaped arch that follows the axle angle, providing better protection, performance, and a clean, aggressive look. Unlike overly arched designs that can stress your axles, these arms are precision-made to fit just like the factory parts. Many kits also feature the High Lifter logo cut into the bracing. Installation is straightforward with detailed, step-by-step instructions and multiple images.
You can use your stock bushings and ball joints, or choose arms with preinstalled ball joints for even easier setup. Before installing, always check bearings, bushings, ball joints, and brakes, replacing any worn parts to save time and get back on the trail faster.
