Don’t let boost leaks steal your horsepower.
The EVP Billet Boost Recirculating Valve (BRV) is designed to deliver reliable, leak-free performance by maintaining precise tolerances and consistent operation under high boost conditions.
CNC machined from billet aluminum, the body, cap, and piston are built with extremely tight tolerances for long-lasting durability. Hard-anodized sliding components and a triple O-ring sealing design provide improved reliability compared to the factory valve.
Each BRV kit is also matched with the correct spring rate for optimal performance on your specific engine application.
BRV vs. BOV: What’s the Difference?
Both a Blow-Off Valve (BOV) and Boost Recirculating Valve (BRV) prevent turbo compressor surge by releasing excess boost pressure when the throttle closes.
The difference is where that air goes. A BRV redirects the pressurized air back to the turbo inlet, helping maintain turbo spool and delivering quicker boost response during throttle changes. A BOV vents the excess air into the atmosphere, creating the familiar “psshh” sound while releasing the pressure.
For performance-focused applications, a BRV helps keep the turbo system more responsive and consistent.
Features:
- Best in the Dessert, Drag Race, and Short Course Race tested
- Tested to 500+ horsepower
- Prevents turbo compressor surge, which causes lost performance and decreased throttle response
- Redirects excess air back into the intake system when the throttle plate is closed
- Protects the longevity of the turbocharger
- The body, piston and cap are machined from billet aluminum
- The cap is anodized and re-machined for easy gripping for spring tension adjustments
- The piston and body are hard coated with impregnated Teflon anti friction matrix
- The design has 3 sealing O-rings for leak proof operation
- Does not have the "pshh" sound that some customers look to avoid
- Proudly machined and made in the USA
- Includes a billet “T” barb allowing for EVAP cars run without any engine lights or canister faults
