The DS18 Audio Marine & Powersports Headunit & 6.5" Marine Speaker Package provides a complete audio solution built specifically for open-air environments. Combining a feature-rich head unit with high-efficiency slim speakers, this package allows you to bring full-range sound and integrated lighting to your marine or powersports setup without sacrificing valuable mounting space.

Designed to perform in demanding conditions, the system pairs versatile media playback with durable construction. Whether you are out on the water or navigating outdoor trails, this bundle delivers clear sound while offering essential environmental protection against moisture, sun exposure, and element wear.

Featuring shallow-mount speakers and powerful pre-amp outputs, this kit makes it easy to install quality sound into tight spaces or integrate into a larger, expanded audio setup.

Features

• All-in-One Package: Includes one MRX1 head unit with a protective silicone cover and two NXL-6SL/WH 6.5-inch white marine speakers.
• Weather-Resistant Build: Features an IP65 water-resistance rating, conformal coating, UV resistance, and salt spray protection for long-lasting durability outdoors.
• Versatile Media Support: Stream wirelessly using Bluetooth v4.2 with ID3 tag info, connect via USB (up to 64GB with 2A charging) or AUX, and access AM/FM radio with CT sync time adjustments.
• Integrated RGB Lighting: Built-in RGB LED lights in the speakers offer added style and visibility during low-light conditions.
• Complete Audio Tuning: Adjust your sound profile with bass, treble, EQ, loudness, and subwoofer crossover settings, alongside preset EQ options like FLAT, ROCK, and CLASSICAL.
• Compact Speaker Profile: Ultra-slim mounting depth of 0.98 inches allows for easy installation in tight spaces without compromising audio output.

Weather-Proof Construction

The MRX1 head unit and NXL-6SL/WH speakers are engineered from the ground up to endure harsh outdoor environments. Conformal coating shields internal components, while dedicated salt spray shielding and UV resistance prevent deterioration over extended exposure to sunlight and spray. The inclusion of a protective silicone cover for the head unit adds an extra layer of defense when the system is not in use.

Flexible Connectivity and Control

Equipped with Bluetooth v4.2, the receiver allows rapid wireless device pairing alongside ID3 tag information display for seamless track identification. The unit also features a negative VA LCD display with backlighting, wired remote input capability, and a low battery beep indicator for efficient system monitoring.

Full System Expansion Options

For expanded audio configurations, the head unit features 4V RMS differential preamp outputs, front (L+R) and rear (L+R) RCA outputs, and a dedicated subwoofer RCA output. The subwoofer output includes adjustable gain (0–12) and a selectable low pass filter with settings at 80Hz, 120Hz, and 160Hz to seamlessly integrate additional amplifiers and subwoofers.

Shallow-Mount Marine Speakers

The included NXL-6SL/WH 6.5-inch coaxial speakers are designed with a shallow mounting depth of less than one inch (0.98"/25mm), making them ideal for installations where depth is strictly limited. Equipped with a 5.3 oz magnet and a 1" voice coil, these speakers handle 25W RMS and 100W MAX power while delivering 90dB sensitivity across a 90Hz to 20KHz frequency response.
