The DRT Motorsports HD Billet Aluminum Tie Rod Kit for the Kawasaki Teryx 1000 KRX/4 (M16 Steering Rack) is a high-quality upgrade designed to enhance the strength and reliability of the vehicle. Made from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet bar stock, these tie rods are significantly stronger than the OEM ones, yet lightweight without compromising on durability. The kit ensures clearance for all components throughout the entire range of motion, even at full droop or compression, providing riders with confidence during their rides.
Working in conjunction with the OEM M16 steering rack, the DRT Tie Rod Kit replaces the OEM Rod Ends with 3 piece PTFE lined 5/8" Chromoly rod ends and a proprietary inner ball joint. This design seals the OEM bellow and protects the steering rack from water, dirt, and sand intrusion. The kit includes DRT spec stainless steel misalignment spacers and class 10.9 hardware, ensuring the required clamping force to keep the vehicle trail-ready.
The DRT Tie Rods are finished with Military Grade anodized black coating and bear the DRT Motorsports mark, proudly indicating their origin in the USA. This kit offers improved performance and peace of mind to Kawasaki Teryx KRX/4 owners.
Note: Verify jam nuts are tight and installed with tread locker. The use of paint check to visually verify movement is recommended. Jam nuts should be inspected before each ride to make sure everything is tight and secure. These radius rods are Left/Right adjustable.
