2026 Polaris Off-Road Lineup: Every New RZR, Ranger, General, Xpedition, Sportsman & Youth Model Explained
Posted by Drew Cummings on Nov 26th 2025
Polaris isn’t just rolling into 2026 — it’s coming in hot.

This year marks 40 years of Polaris ATVs, and the brand is celebrating the milestone with one of the biggest lineup refreshes we’ve seen in years. Nearly every major category gets real upgrades: the RZR family brings an all-new wide-stance XP S and tech-loaded Pro R, the Ranger lineup grows from a brand-new entry-level 500 to region-tailored XD 1500 NorthStar Editions, and both the General and Xpedition get sharper and more refined. Sportsman ATVs get a retro anniversary throwback, and the youth models continue to lead the industry in safety tech.
Reid Wilson, President of Polaris Off-Road Vehicles, summed it up well:
“The industry is more competitive than ever, and consumers look to Polaris to lead with performance, capability, and style. Across our 2026 lineup, we’ve continued to enhance our vehicles with added features and improved performance, delivering unmatched value while honoring our legacy as the American Powersports Company.”
Most 2026 units start shipping August 2025, with the newest RZRs arriving a little later in the fall.
Let’s break down everything new — clearly and in one place.
RZR: 2026 Goes Bigger, Wider, and Smarter
The RZR lineup is always where Polaris flexes its performance engineering, and 2026 is no different. This year brings a redesigned RZR XP, an all-new RZR XP S with a 72" stance, a Pro R with the largest touchscreen ever put in a side-by-side, and a Mexico-inspired RZR Pro S Calavera Edition. The Pro XP, Pro S, Trail, and Trail S models also get convenience and ergonomic upgrades across the board.
