Aftermarket Assassins '18-'21 Can-Am Maverick X3 172 HP Stage 3 Lock & Load Kit
This Stage 2 kit is designed for 2018-21 172HP Base Can-Am X3 models or 2017 X3 models equipped with the 2018-21 style fuel pump. It delivers a significant increase in horsepower and torque through a combination of tuning, clutching, exhaust, and intake upgrades. The tuning improves power across RPM ranges, especially at higher RPM where factory calibration falls off, while clutching enhances RPM ramp-up for optimal real-world performance. The exhaust reduces back pressure and heat to support higher boost, and the high flow intake improves airflow to the turbo. The kit also includes a closed loop catch can system and a blow off valve to maintain turbo safety under increased boost.
After extensive dyno and real-world testing, this setup maximizes the potential of the 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. Factory limitations such as lean fueling under boost and restricted throttle behavior are corrected, resulting in improved drivability and power delivery. The Powervision flash tuner allows easy ECU programming, data logging, and switching between tunes, making this a complete and user-friendly performance solution.
