The ATS system features a small solid-state control box that performs its functions, distinguishing itself from the previous generation's larger control box. Just like its predecessor, the TSS (Turn Signal System), the ATS is a modular design with vehicle-specific SKUs, ensuring a perfect fit for your Yamaha Wolverine RMAX. It also integrates seamlessly with an XTC Blinker Kit, giving you a complete and highly visible turn signaling setup.
So, how does the ATS work? Each ATS kit includes a marine-grade rocker switch with laser-cut directional arrows that flash green when activated. A short press of the turn signal rocker switch will activate the turn blinker for quick lane changes, while an extended press will provide a longer blinker duration for making left- and right-hand turns. The turn signal will automatically self-cancel after a short duration, but can also be manually canceled by pressing the actuator a second time"perfect for riders building an XTC Street Legal Kit for on-road compliance.
In addition to the turn signals, our Self-Canceling Yamaha Wolverine RMAX turn signal kit also includes a "Hazard/Horn" rocker switch. The top "Hazard" side of the actuator turns on the hazard lights, while pressing it again deactivates them. The lower portion of the custom rocker switch activates the street-legal FIAMM horn, an essential component for completing a full XTC Street Legal Kit.
Installation is a breeze with our ATS kit. It includes a vehicle-specific harness that easily plugs inline with the rear factory taillight harness. The brake light signal passes through the ATS, allowing the opposing brake light to function normally while the activated turn signal brake light flashes. Unlike competitors, our ATS kits also feature an auxiliary power out for a license plate light or whip lights, which works perfectly with an XTC Blinker Kit for additional lighting and signaling options.
