The Self-Canceling Turn Signal System, also known as the ATS, is a plug and play kit that is incredibly easy to install. It features a small solid-state control box that performs its functions, offering a more streamlined design compared to previous models. Like its predecessor, the TSS, the ATS is a modular design with specific SKUs tailored to fit your Can-Am Defender, making it compatible with the XTC Street Legal Kit for riders seeking a fully street-ready setup.
The ATS with Billet Turn Lever includes a high-quality billet turn lever, which offers superior durability and performance. When you press the turn signal lever, the ATS will activate the turn blinker for a short duration and then self-cancel, making simple lane changes effortless. Extended lever presses will result in a longer blinker duration, perfect for making left and right-hand turns. You can also manually cancel the turn signal by pushing the lever a second time, especially useful when paired with the XTC Blinker Kit for full functionality.
This kit also includes a 'Hazard/Horn' rocker switch, allowing you to easily control hazard lights and activate the included street-legal FIAMM horn, which complements the XTC Street Legal Kit for full road compliance. Additionally, the ATS features a vehicle-specific harness that plugs inline with the rear factory taillight harness, ensuring seamless integration. The brake light signal passes through the ATS, allowing the opposing brake light to function normally while the activated turn signal brake light flashes.
Unlike competitors' kits, the ATS includes an auxiliary power out for a license plate light or whip lights. It is also compatible with our 6" LED Lit License Plate Frame, adding an extra layer of functionality. Each system comes with a vehicle-specific power connection, making installation a breeze with no wires to cut or crimp.
