The RPM BIG FATTY Intake Tube for the Maverick R is built for durability, performance, and protection. It keeps the factory airbox and OEM Donaldson filter, which provides the best filtration to protect your engine from dirt, dust, and debris. The silicone tube is heavy-duty 5-ply with wire reinforcement, making it nearly impossible to collapse under any conditions or power levels.
The tube is designed for smooth, free-flowing airflow: it matches the interior diameter of the airbox, transitions seamlessly, and is angled away from the intercooler to reduce heat soak. A venturi-style intake ring increases airflow speed while blocking debris from entering the intake.
For extra protection, the kit includes an RPM debris cage to stop large objects like leaves or mud, and a hydrophobic pre-filter that repels water, sand, and fine particles, keeping the air filter cleaner longer. The interior raised transitions make installation easy and create a smooth airflow path, improving engine performance and reliability in even the harshest conditions.
