This is caused by damaged governor cup slider shoe damper rings, the factory rings are soft and will crush under engine vibration loading. Don't pay $2 each for OEM! Replace them with KWI Damper Rings every clutch service, we have made these with a special rubber compound to resist crushing and improve clutch shifting while providing noise reduction. With 12 damper rings you will have enough for over 2000 miles of riding; three rings required each service.
