High Lifter’s heavy-duty control arms provide significantly more strength and durability than factory components. Both the upper and lower arms are built from 1.5" DOM tubing with a .120 wall thickness, offering about a 50% increase in size and a 70% increase in steel thickness for improved strength during demanding rides.
The lower arms feature adjustable bushing collars that help prevent premature wear caused by lift kits, portal systems, or larger tires, while also allowing up to 3/8" of camber adjustment when set at the factory position. The arms come pre-adjusted and are designed to work with factory bushings and caps for easier installation.
To maximize ground clearance, the lower control arms use a unique arched design with double and triple bends, adding about 1.75" of extra clearance while maintaining factory suspension geometry to reduce wear on axles and tie rods. The forward arm design also allows for larger tires without requiring a suspension lift. Reinforced ball joint brackets increase the mounting area by over 130%, helping prevent distortion from the added stress of portals or oversized tires.
For easier installation, ball joints can also be purchased pre-installed by High Lifter’s service team, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitment.
