Demon Powersports Can-Am Defender Max HD10 Heavy Duty Axle

Through years of research and development Demon Powersports has developed an axle that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket and adheres to the highest quality standards. These axles are bigger, beefier, and stronger.

Demon Heavy Duty Axles are built using larger CV joints and shafts, paired with our proprietary dual heat treatment process, and 4340 Chromoly Steel inner CV cage gives these the axles the edge it needs for superior strength and longevity.

These axles also utilize a unique double plunge design which allows it to achieve higher articulation angles approximately, the axles are designed to slide on the bar splines allowing for 1.5 inches of travel and 40° articulation over terrain on the inboard joint. The outboard joint can travel 0.5inches and swing from 45°-47° depending on the model.

The Demon heavy duty axles are equipped The TPEE (Thermoplastic polyester elastomer) boots which are stronger, stiffer, more fatigue resistant, puncture resistant, and more temperature resistant than a standard OEM boot. Axle: The dual plunge design allows for extra suspension travel while preventing binding, and the CVs provide an exceptionally high articulation angle of up to 47°. These stock-length axles are compatible with most bracket lift kits up to 3" as well as any portal lifts. They are up to 20% larger than OEM axles, delivering a maximum breaking torque of 4,600Nm. Available for popular lift kits, with customized axle options offered upon inquiry.

CV Joint: The CV joints are 10-15% larger in size compared to OEM, with the cage upgraded to 4340 Chromoly steel. The same specification used in our Xtreme series axles, effectively eliminating the weakest link in overall strength. The race and cage are specially engineered to increase durability while reducing heat generation, and upgraded grease ensures peak reliability and performance.

Shaft: Constructed from Chromoly steel, this shaft features a dual heat treatment process for maximum strength and durability. It is up to 20% larger in size compared to OEM axles, providing enhanced performance and reliability.

Boot: The extra-tough TPEE boot delivers enhanced durability, minimizing wear and tear in harsh environments and providing superior protection against impacts from stone chips, branches, and other debris.
