CA Tech USA Can-Am X3 Billet Aluminum Shock Tower Kit
The CA Tech USA Can-Am X3 Billet Aluminum Shock Tower Kit is engineered for multiple applications, serving as the main mounting point for the Front Suspension Limit Strap system and the Frame Gusset Plate, making it the central component of vehicle protection for the X3.
This brace is a direct replacement that requires no flipping of shocks, trimming of plastics, or modifications of any kind. Designed in-house, it maintains factory-like fitment while significantly improving the overall strength of key components.
Each brace is milled from solid billet 6061 aluminum bar stock and finished with a durable powder coat. The CA Tech USA logo is milled into the top to expose the raw aluminum beneath, adding a bold finishing touch.
Frame Gusset Plate
The gusset plate is an essential solution for reinforcing the X3 frame, helping to reduce deflection in the front end and increase overall rigidity.
When the X3 is pushed to its full potential, the front end is at high risk of additional deflection, causing the upper shock mount area and the lower frame where the control arms connect to move under heavy shock load. This gusset plate, paired with the upper shock tower brace, ties the machine together to protect the frame from unwanted torsion and prevent costly damage to the radiator fan.
For proper installation, the gusset plate must be used with either the CA Tech USA limit strap system or the aluminum shock tower brace, as it does not attach to factory components on its own.
Each plate is crafted from 3/16 mild sheet steel, TIG welded for strength, and includes a grommet to allow hoses to pass through safely without risk of damage.
