With the EMP Polaris General Under Dash Speakers you can mount 6.5” speakers down by your feet for high quality sound that does not take up much cab space. Under dash speakers, or kick panels as some call them, have long been the preferred speaker position for true audiophiles. They argue that overhead units do not properly convey sound and the quality could never match lower mounted speakers. Once you heard a set of these speakers in a Polaris General, it is hard to disagree with that assessment.
These speaker pods mount using oem style plastic rivet fasteners, which do require drilling into the factory inner fenders for mounting. However, once installed the black textured pods look as if they came installed from the factory.
The speaker pods hold 6.5” 40 Watt marine grade speakers , so you don’t have to worry about a little dirt or water ruining your speakers. Of course you wouldn’t to completely submerge these speakers, but they can hold up elements.
