Spike Can Am Maverick X3 TTR Hard Coat Vented Full Windshield

Install the Spike Vented Windshield on the Maverick X3 for increased airflow, thus reducing heat and dust in the cab. As many benefits as windshield have, the one major drawback is the change in air pressure they cause when installed. The difference in air pressure from the front of windshield to the back of the windshield causes a vacuum effect which brings air rushing into the cab, along with all the particles it carries with it. However, this difference in air pressure can be remedied by allowing some airflow in the cab. That is where ventilation comes into play, allow a little air into the cab and there is no longer a big difference in air pressure, thus reducing the air and dust coming into the cab.

With the Spike Vented Windshield for the Maverick X3, however you do not have choose between airflow or complete coverage. The vented windshield allows you to open and close the vents. On hot days, or dusty days you can keep the vent open. On cold days or wet days you can keep the vent closed.
