Racer Tech is known for our truly RIGID mount nerf bars for all major UTV’s. These RZR XP 1000 Nerf Bars are a perfect addition to our selection. Not only do these bars look great, they actually WORK when you need them to do their job!
We started with completely rethinking the mounting solution for these. Polaris gives us some big holes in the frame and some tiny screws to hold the part on the machine. This is a horrible setup for a product you install with INTENSIONS of hitting/getting hit by things! We machine special inserts that reach deeper in to the frame. On the front mounts, we actually drill THROUGH the frame and securely fasten the front mounts from the back side. The middle mounts install about the same as normal because there isn’t much twist or force applied to these with proper front and rear mounts. Our rear mounts actually mount up in the main chassis of the RZR and add 4th points to the mounting of these bars. No other company makes bars like this for the XP 1000. The mounts for these 4th points use our proprietary “flange” clamps to securely fasten to the tubular chassis. These added mounts allow for some serious deflection of trees, rock or opponents.
Installation is simple and fitment is excellent due to professional 3D CAD design by our talented in-house engineers. The final product is a simple yet comprehensive product anyone with a garage and simple tools can install on a Saturday. This kit is made from American steel, laser cut and CNC bent for absolute precision every time.
This installation does require drilling a 5/8” hole through the front frame rails using the original hole as a pilot. It’s quite simple, and the only part of the install that requires anything but simple wrenches.
