Polaris General Dalton Adjustable Clutch Kit

The Polaris General Dalton Adjustable Clutch Kit was created for Generals that have 28" or larger tires and/or ride at higher elevations.

Polaris actually developed a pretty good clutch system for the stock Polaris General. With stock tires, no engine mods and below 3500 feet elevation there really is no need to adjust the stock General clutch. However, if you have installed bigger tires, ride at higher elevations or added significant weight or power to the machine you will want to get your clutch dialed in.

Optimizing your clutch isn't just about getting more power out of the machine, it is also about preserving your belt life by reducing cvt heat and ensuring proper belt grip. The Dalton adjustable kit will help you do this in a variety of riding conditions. If you are the type of General owner who finds themselves in hardpack, mud, sand and rock you don't want to have clutch kits for each of those riding conditions, with the Dalton kit you don't have to. The Dalton kit comes with their signature adjustable flyweights which can be optimized on the fly to dial in your best ride.
